I heard it was only domestic fight between Jimmy and Charlotte.And their -ex staff only revealed it over 20 years later. It is ridiculous(lol). Do you think that there are the couples who do not fight?

Though Jimmy Page might have had so many groupies,we have to know he never loved those girls. And we should not believe girls' one-sided stories excessively.
Because Jimmy called them 'bimbos' when someone asked how he thought about Miss Pamela's book. He really said 'I've met a lot of bimbos out there. Girls like to exaggerate.' If he loved them,he would never say like that. I never tell a lie. This is really true.
On the other hand,Robert Plant had a respect for groupies. We can see he met Miss Pamela in 2007 in her site. But Jimmy never come in contact with his ex-groupies. I don't think he remember even their names.

I've done a site for Jimmy Page which includes a little section about groupies and I'll make other one with the family.
Jimmy had so so many groupies cause he was so so handsome, I think in my past life I was a groupie of him, lol!! It would have been great!!!

It was the book of Hammer of The Gods or Richard Cole's book that described it 'stormy marriage' at first.
But because these are evaluated as vulgar muckraking books,I don't understand whether there are reliabilities in them.
I think the answer is written in Charlotte Martin's page on this site.
(the contents mainly come from Jimmy's past interviews and some Zep biography books)
Though Jimmy and Charlotte were not going well in the first half of the 70's,their relationship got better from the middle of the 70's. Since then Jimmy began to call her 'My Lady'.
In short it is guessed there was an intense up and down relationship between them at a certain time.

I'll answer the question.
Jimmy lived with Charlotte and their daughter from 1970 to 1982 in England.
They were(are)true family.
But Lori Maddox and Bebe Buell were only temporary groupies for Jimmy.
If you are Jimmy's big fan, you had better deeply research everything about him. And you'll know he was clearly dividing the family life from the mere musement during tours.

I understand what are you referring too, but groupies are added here because I'm trying to add all the relationships, although I know groupies weren't so important as wives or girlfriends, they were only fun.

I love this site. But I can't understand why Zep's true families and groupies are put together??
In the book ''Whole Lotta Led Zeppelin: The Illustrated History of the Heaviest Band of All Time'' by Jon Bream, even about Miss Pamela, it is written that ''Pamela Des Barres was only one of
many Zeppelin's groupies.'' There is a big difference between groupies and their families!

Jimmy did call only Charlotte Martin 'my lady' and they had a family life with their child in his heyday. I'm sure Jimmy and Charlotte have a very strong bond even today.
She is a mother of his child and a grandmum of his granddaughter.
Her position is different at all from Pamela or Cathy James.
I think she will never write a book about Jimmy.(though I want to read it)
I hope Jimmy will write his autobiography in the near future. I want to read how he will write
about his 3 beautiful wives (Charlotte,Patricia and Jimena).

I think this is an excellent site. The photos here are unique, some of which I've never seen before. I'm always on the lookout for new photos.
I hope you don't mind but I decided to post a link to your site on my own at www.comeintomyparlor.com/jimmypageophiles. Not all on the message boards share picture of the wives, girlfriends and children of the band but there are (obviously) plenty of people who do. I thought I'd give them some direction to your excellent site, especially since my site isn't really geared toward that.

I really will like to see a space for Catherine James on Jimmy's family. Also, I wanna report some errors. The birthdate of Jimena Page is on July 7th, 1972; not 1977. The name of Jimmy & Jimena's son is not Asher, but "Ashen Josan".
The birthday of Karac Plant is April 22th, and the year is 1971 or 1972. I bet it is the first.

I'm a Makeup Artist in NYC who showed up every time they played in the City. I was in my teens then. We never got past the 'ropes' outside the Plaza Hotel but were always an inch away!! When they got robbed it was big news! But seeing them so many times was a rush I could never forget. And they always came into the Hotel and left with different girls. Some ugly! NYC had this vibe all over when they'd get here. Wow.I was a Rock Chick back then.
Your site and genius are truly spectacular. I stumbled upon it while looking for Plant/Page history. They were genius as well. BEST, BRILLIANT and I cried looking back. And your tribute to the women answered every question I had from those days..Jimmy's Stars and Moon were a sight at the Garden as was Roberts hair.. This was such a brilliant endeavor on your part.

In case you wanted to add more music to the site:
Sick Again is about the baby groupies (like Lori, Morgana, Sable, etc.), Tangerine is about Jackie, Robert mentions Carmen in How Many More Times and The Ocean with the lines 'I've got another child on the way' and 'She is only three years old.'
Robert's solo song 29 Palms is about Alannah, also.

But on the Jimmy Page section, it says Sofie Jade was Jimena's child that Jimmy adopted her but Jana was. Zofia-Jade was born in 1997 and is Jimmy's biological daughter. Jana was the one born in 1995 and adopted.

Hi I just wanted to say that that picture of Charlotte Martin (that small closeup) isn't the same Charlotte Martin. You'll know which one I'm talking about because it doesn't really look like her anyway.

The pic of Charlotte Martin with Eric Clapton is so lovely.
She was seriously loved by both Eric and Jimmy Page in their each heyday.
Jimmy presented to Charlotte Benz of special specification and a gorgeous bouquet on her birthday in 1976. It is said that Jimmy ordered it to the Benz headquarters by telephone while recording with Bonzo in Montreux at July 1976.

this is an excellent site! I would hope that some of Peter Grant's surviving family members would be added particularly Warren, Helen, and Gloria Grant. Pictures of Horselunges manor and the estate in Purley England(former homes of Grant) would be posted as well. Violit did an absolutely wonderful job that throughly delights the zeppelin fan. Violet, Pictures of Page's mom and dad would be a treat also; however, what you've displayed thus far is absolutely euphoric.
